Labour Doula| Postpartum Doula | Infant Sleep Educator
My love for all things births related started slowly.
I have had a variety of personal experience delivering my own three children in varying circumstances.
My experience with birth trauma and PPD/PPA with my second child really inspired me to find a way to support other families through the postpartum period. My experience with the birth of my third child, at home with the support of a midwife inspired me further be that support person for other women during birth.
The history and sacred nature of the birth process and women supporting each other really fascinates me.
I am passionate about babywearing, breastfeeding, holistic living, carseat safety and attachment parenting.
On an average day in the Antonio household you may find us having an epic light saber battle, reading Harry Potter, blasting music in the kitchen (my two year old can hum the theme to Game of Thrones), and drinking tea or green smoothies.
I am a birth and postpartum doula currently working on my certification and therefore have a reduced rate for my services. I also am certifying as a sleep educator. I look forward to further supporting my families with information about how to facilitate healthy sleep routines.
In 2016, I began my training as a Labour and Postpartum Doula, as well as infant sleep educator and am currently working through the certification process. In 2017, I became trained in the use of Rebozo technique for labour, birth and postpartum support.
