Hypnobabies Instructor & Hypnodoula
My interest in the birthing community began in 2012, after the birth of my first daughter. In preparation for this life changing event, I came across a local doula, who was offering Hypnobabies Childbirth Education Classes. The term “doula” was very new to me. Upon meeting with her and discussing my vision of childbirth, I knew a doula would help me achieve the birth I wanted.
My husband and I attended a group Hypnobabies class with our doula, and had a very positive birth experience. Fast forward two years and we were expecting baby #2! My husband suggested we attend another Hypnobabies class, and by the end, I'd decided that this course was something I wanted to teach.
Hypnobabies worked so well for us in both of my births and I'm happy to teach something that I am so passionate about. I have always wanted to do some sort of teaching but never had the calling or perfect opportunity until I found Hypnobabies. I completed my Hypnobabies Instructor Certification in June 2015 and have been teaching group and private classes ever since.
I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and practice part-time as a Dental Hygienist. I look forward to further expanding my horizons in the birthing community in the near future.
