Hello friend,
My name is Shannon and I have been a certified Postpartum Doula since 2016. I support parents through one of the most transformative times of their lives. I’ve had the privilege of working with over 50 families offering compassionate, evidence- based support tailored to each parent’s unique needs. Whether it’s infant care and education, feeding and sleep support, or emotional reassurance and a listening ear, I recognize that every journey into parenthood is deeply personal.
In addition to my doula experience I’ve continued to seek education and complete courses in perinatal mental health and trauma centered care. This has given me a deeper understanding of the complex challenges many families face. I am a passionate advocate around supporting mental health through this transition and provide a safe, non-judgmental space for parents to talk. I believe every parent deserves a strong support system.
Outside of postpartum work, I love spending my time volunteering in my community, attending live music events and being outdoors. I live in central Edmonton with my husband, 2 kids and a plump orange cat named Taco. I believe in the power of connection, whether it's through community, music, nature or just taking a quiet moment to appreciate what is around us.
