Supporting individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness or diagnosis of their loved ones. The End of Life Doula can educate, advocate, and empower clients by starting the conversation about death and embracing the dying process early. By aligning the client’s needs with their expectations and wishes, the End of Life Doula can significantly improve the quality and dignity of the end of life journey.

Relief: The Overnight Vigil

We are honoured to offer vigil services to our clients and their families. Hours: 10 pm - 6 am (min 4 hr shift) Available in Packages of 8/16 and 24 hours. 

MAiD: Medical Assistance in Dying

MAiD Process Assistance & Coordination: from application to arranging the details of your death date to providing grief support to your loved ones afterwards, we are able to provide you with guidance, education, resources and support.

Assistance with Assessments: There are numerous criteria that must be met to organize assessments in support of your MAiD application. The path to MAiD can be confusing and an administrative burden. We are able to shepherd you through the process.

Life Preparation: To ensure you have as much control over your passing as possible - it is important to organize your affairs. We understand that can feel overwhelming. We offer Advance Care Planning, including Power of Attorney execution & Advance Directives to ensure your wishes and preferences are respected and carried out.

Intergenerational Family Mediation & Conflict Resolution: The MAiD process can involve a lot of emotions and desires to heal relationships that have been damaged over time. Our Doula is a trained & experienced Family and Intergenerational Mediator, skilled in facilitating productive discussions that can provide closure and peace.

Additional services can be arranged, including: Threshold Choir (Bedside Singing), Clutter Cleaning, Food Preparation, Garage Sales, Celebration of Life or Memorial, Funeral Arrangements

Pregnancy & Birth Loss:
An important aspect of Death Doula work is offering care to parents experiencing Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Medical Termination or Sudden Infant Loss. All of the services listed above can be customized to your personal needs.

Pet Loss Companioning: 
One of the unique service, Pet Loss and Death Doula Services, for those beloved furry or feathered members of our families. Grieving the loss of a beloved pet can have a significant impact on emotional and psychological well being of individuals and family members.
