Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation involves carefully preparing your placenta into easy-to-swallow capsules, offering a convenient and personalized way to preserve its properties. Regardless of the preparation method, the placenta is always dehydrated at a specific temperature to ensure safety and maintain quality.
Each encapsulation is completed with attention to detail and professionalism. Clients are responsible for arranging drop-off and pick-up of the placenta.

We do not sell placenta products. We provide a service of encapsulation between the birthing parent and the encapsulator. It is important to note that Health Canada considers placenta encapsulation to fall under the food and drug act, which has strict requirements for approval to sell or market placenta capsules that have a third party agreement. Placenta encapsulation appears to carry no inherent risk if ingested solely by the birthing parent. Most information gained from encapsulation has been anecdotes and personal experiences and not research. Care must be taken during storage of the placenta and transport ensuring it is treated like meat for safe consumption. It must be stored either in a fridge for no more than three days or frozen while waiting to be encapsulated.
