The Need to Know Class Series

Don't you wish babies came with manuals?
Have you been wondering, what do I really need to know?

We know navigating the plethora of overloaded information parents receive from media, friends and well intended family may not be current or even be following safe practices. This is one reason we created these series.
The Need to Know Class Series are specifically designed for the new parent that is looking to dive in and learn everything the "need to know" in preparing to becoming a new parent. We have broken down each series to showcase in depth information for learning about and navigating the stages of parenting a little one. Each class provides detailes, up to date, evidenced based information developed to fully information and educate parents and grandparents on the aspects of care during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the newborn period.

Special introductory offer of $125.00 for both classes when they are booked at same time.
The first 6 participants will receive $50.00 towards postpartum doula support on any contract over $300.00

The Need to Know Grandparents Class

This class was developed by childbirth educator, doula, doula trainer and grandparent of two, who understands the complexity of allowing our children to navigate parenthood on their own, in balance with the strong desire to educate and simplify all the struggles we had as new parents with little knowledge or information at our finger tips. There is great importance in sharing traditions and wisdom passed down from generations. Over the years we have learnt so much more about health, human interractions, bonding, breastfeeding and newborn care aspects. Through current research and evidence, new practices have developed to ensure safe care for the growing family. This class aims to equip grandparents with current practices and recommendations new parents are being given, how to balance the changes in your relationship and fully support your adult children during this exciting time for them and you.
