We have broken down each series to showcase in depth information for learning about and navigating the stages of parenting a little one. Each class provides detailes, up to date, evidenced based information developed to fully information and educate parents and grandparents on the aspects of care during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the newborn period.

The Need to Know Grandparents Class
This class was developed by childbirth educator, doula, doula trainer and grandparent of two, who understands the complexity of allowing our children to navigate parenthood on their own, in balance with the strong desire to educate and simplify all the struggles we had as new parents with little knowledge or information at our finger tips. There is great importance in sharing traditions and wisdom passed down from generations. Over the years we have learnt so much more about health, human interactions, bonding, breastfeeding and newborn care aspects. Through current research and evidence, new practices have developed to ensure safe care for the growing family. This class aims to equip grandparents with current practices and recommendations new parents are being given, how to balance the changes in your relationship and fully support your adult children during this exciting time for them and you. The Need to know Newborn Class
This class is for every new parent looking to be better equipped in understanding their newborns behaviour, rhythms, sleep patterns, feeding cues and the everyday essentials for newborn care. We will cover what to expect in the first days and weeks as you adjust to become new born parents with a newborn baby. We will cover what are normal newborn characteristics, reflexes, cues, signs of overstimulation, feeding guidelines, burping, soothing secrets and so much more... We want you to enjoy this time and be equipped with the information and knowledge to make this adjustment one that is smooth and manageable. The more you know, the easier this transition will be. This class was developed to support families before bringing home their new little sibling, and hoping to prepare themselves and their children for their arrival. Join us for a comprehensive and all-encompassing class, simplifying everything you need to know about preparing the big sibling(s), navigating the big feelings of the older children as well and understanding how to parent siblings. We provide evidence-based information to support the developmental needs of children from newborn to twelve years old, as well as the dynamics for a family of more than three.
