After Loss: Pregnancy & Childbirth Class
A childbirth education program for those who have experienced loss.
This one of a kind, in person offering will allow individuals and couples to lean about pregnancy, anatomy the stages of labour and other details that a regular childbirth education class involves, while incorporating opportunities to process previous loss holding space as one moves through various emotions and experiences as you welcome your journey to you rainbow baby.
What you can expect in this program: In these sessions, you will have the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of labour and birthing options available to you and your birth preferences. acknowledging the specifics and challenging aspects of childbirth education following the loss of a very loved sibling. You will have space to learn, grieve and share with peers the future at the same time, if you feel inclined. We acknowledge that discussions may bring up. |

Your facilitator Dyvonna comes with experience and knowledge as a Certified Loss and Bereavement Doula, SBD; a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, LCCE; an Adult Grief Facilitator, and a Certified birth worker for fourteen years. A safe, open and inclusive space is offered. Sessions will be offered in small groups or private class sessions. |
