Circles & Cafes; building community and connection
A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session; however the environment is supportive to sharing difficult experiences. The aim is to bring people together to discuss this often taboo subject, and to extend these conversations outward in their social circles. Death is a part of life and dealing with that reality can be a truly liberating experience. Death Cafés are volunteer run and are always free of charge.

Circle of Care; loss and grief support group
Loss is a lonely place. Grief is complicated.
Family and friends genuinely want to support you, but often don’t know how. Acquaintances and bystanders unknowingly say things that hurt. In many moments, you wish you could just openly speak of your child(ren) without awkward silences….
This support circle is a space for people who are navigating the grief and complex emotions around the death of their child. This monthly meet up will be a safe place that is inclusive, affirming and trauma informed.
Facilitated by Dyvonna Inkster, a Certified Loss and Bereavement Doula, SBD and an Adult Grief support for a decade.
Please come as you are, regardless of where you are in your loss journey. This will be personal sharing and healing time in a collective space.
Teas and light refreshments will be offered.
Held the last Monday of each month at 7pm, beginning November 27, 2023.
Registration for the monthly sessions requires a one time fee of $25 per person. Beyond the initial registration, there will be no fee, and the circle will be held by donation only.
