Labour Doulas support birthing people and their families during pregnancy, labour and birth and in the immediate postpartum period. They provide non-medical educational and emotional support, answer questions, provide resources and physical and emotional support during labour and delivery.

Postpartum Doulas support families as they navigate the first year following the birth of their baby. They assist with basic infant care, lactation and feeding support, and provide resources and education to empower new parents to provide evidence based practices in their parenting journey.

Full Circle Birth Collective offers Labour and Postpartum Doula Training through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA), an international certification organization for Doulas, Childbirth Educators and Lactation Educators. Taught by CAPPA Faculty Member and owner of Full Circle Birth Collective, as well as long time Doula, Sonya Duffee (CLD, CPD, CLDT, CCCE)
